Communication

- AssistiveWare (Proloquo2Go, Proloquo)
Widely used AAC apps for iPad and iPhone. Their free learning guides are excellent even if you never buy the app.
- Project Core
Free core-vocabulary boards and teaching materials from UNC. Good for getting started at zero cost.
- PrAACtical AAC
A long-running blog by speech-language pathologists with practical, everyday AAC strategies.
Autistic-led organizations
Listen to autistic adults. They have been where our kids are.

Family-led organization with state-level affiliates that help navigate services and insurance.
- Center for Parent Information and Resources
Find your state's federally funded Parent Training and Information Center for help with IEPs and school.

Locator programs run through local law enforcement in many areas.
